Details: 150 year celebration based on the establishment of Charlton’s first commercial business in 1863, John Flug’s shanty on the bank of the Avoca River. The last back-to was held in 1995 celebrating 100 years of the Charlton Shire.

Programs of events so far:

Friday: Church service, registration and welcome afternoon tea

Saturday: Morning/afternoon - district tours, reunions & other historical
activities. Night - music & entertainment at Charlton Park with a spit
roast tea.

Sunday: Morning - church service, class reunions etc. Lunch - BBQ at the
Traveller's Rest. Afternoon - grand parade in High Street. Night -
entertainment at the Rex Theatre.

Monday - Lions market. Afternoon/evening - 150th Anniversary Cup at
Charlton Park.

Tuesday: no planned activities at this stage.
