DESCRIPTION:POLMUSICA  \n\n\n\nSunday 12 October | 1pm    \n\n\n\nFREE Event \n\n\n\nThe Rex once again welcomes the participants of the PolMusicA Polish Music Competition to our town as the instrumental talents of these young artists is shared with our community. \n\n\n\nAn initiative of the Polish Community Council of Australia\, the competition is open to pianists and string players 17 years and under. The instrumental categories are: Piano and Strings (violin\, viola\, cello) along with a new Vocal section introduced for the 2025 competition. \n\n\n\nComprising three age groups – 11 years and under\, 12-14 years and 15-17 years – participants must perform two or three selected contrasting pieces\, by various composers. Performance times vary according to the age group\, and range between 5-8 minutes\, 8-12 minutes and 10-15minutes. \n\n\n\nThe Rex presentation concert features the winners of the competition\, providing an exciting opportunity to hear the exceptional talent of these instrumental stars of the future.
