Oasis (Overage Apexians Still In Service) is a service club, which as the name suggests, has members who are ex Apex Club.

As service in Apex finishes after 40 years of age, members still wished to perform community work and as a result OASIS was formed.  Our main service to the Charlton Community is to provide free labour for local town projects.  In our recent past we have assisted in building “Travellers Rest”, the “Charlton Drivers Education Centre” and other projects, such as one-off community events and raising money for town projects.  We also assist the RSL at their annual “Diggers Golf Day”, provide a BBQ at the Charlton Show and assist at the Annual Charlton Fishing Competition.

We also have various items for hire, including portable toilets, BBQ’s, tents etc.  All proceeds go back into the Charlton Community. On occasions we also do some catering work for weddings etc, although this is not our main function.  Again all monies raised go back into the Charlton Community.

New members are always welcome.  We meet every 2nd Monday of the month at the Charlton RSL Hall.
