Bendigo Equine Hospital

The Victorian Equine Group are committed to servicing the veterinary needs of the horse community of Charlton and surrounds. Victorian Equine Group own and operate the Bendigo Equine Hospital.
Elective work is carried out both for hospital and ambulatory services between our normal business hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. We do not take bookings for routine services outside of normal business hours.
We provide emergency services outside of these hours 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Emergency services are charged at higher rates than those charged during normal business hours.
Bendigo Equine Hospital
Our hospital is a purpose built surgical and medical facility right in the heart of the racing precinct. Located directly opposite the Bendigo Racecourse, we are a first opinion and referral hospital serving Central Victoria
Ambulatory Services
We run an ambulatory service out of Bendigo serving the Greater Bendigo area. Please be aware that not all treatment is able to be provided on your property as specific (hospital) equipment can be required for certain procedures. Ambulatory services incur a callout fee, so where possible, presenting your horse at the hospital is the most cost effective option.

Referral from other veterinarians
We accept a large number of referral cases from a large geographical area. These referrals may take the form of elective surgeries, complex medicine cases or horses requiring intensive care. Emergency referrals are welcome 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
